Brewmaster
Most dragons think she lost her pearl. This is, in fact, incorrect. When she was very young a mutation caused by one of her splashed potions changed the chemistry of the pearl-mucus she secretes, such that once dried no substance can corrode it. Noticing this, she didn't use it to make a normal pearl - what other dragons think is a cauldron she holds dear to her as some twisted replacement for a lost pearl actually is her pearl. You can still see the small round ball in the centre of the base, if you ever see it empty. She believes that not only does it make a superior cauldron due to its corrosion-resistant nature, but that everything she brews in it has a little bit of herself in it and is thus all the better for it.
One day while experimenting with her potions, the sludge in her cauldron began to solidify and move. As she watched and hurriedly took notes, a creature crawled out - and immediately curled up next to her. She holds this creature very dear, and keeps it as her familiar.
