An enigma within an enigma within an enigma (and perhaps wrapped up with a small mystery), Steve is a creature who does their work silently. When everybody else is refuelling on coffee, Steve is stalking ghost-like through the corridors, swapping petri dishes and stealing the word ‘work’ from posters.
But what is Steve? Though eyewitness reports are few and far between, the general consensus is that Steve is some sort of rogue robot, perhaps with the power to transport themselves through electrical lines, swiftly travelling to fax, to coffee-maker, and back to fax again.
The scientific consensus (or at least, the consensus from the scientists who didn’t roll their eyes and leave muttering the word ‘Steve’ under their breaths) is that both having an artificial body and travelling via electricity is completely impossible. But we, dear readers, disagree; after all, is not Steve a creature that exists, nay, thrives on impossibility?!
