Biography
Melchett Aloof | Passionate | Grumpy Winter's Frost |
The night during spring always brought me joy, distracting me from my thoughts of reality. No pain, no lose, just me. I could feel the wind sweeping through the field, brushing the grass with a soft stroke. The petals of flowers turned and swayed with the breeze, dancing to its own song. Critters of the forest huddling near, curiosity shining in their eyes. Its feels surreal, almost, the feeling of the peace and contentment that settles in my heart, in my soul. The faintest scent of stargazers lingering in the air, tickling my nose. The stars above sparking with life, glowing a beautiful pale blue. The canvas of the world above plastered with a black backdrop, swirling and entangling with the colors of the night. My lips curved upwards with a soft smile, lavashing the works of beauty before me, at the creation of something so overlooked. Admiring the colors that bring a sense of life into this world, a spark of creation in the minds of the talented. The gift of meaning for those with the eyes and mind of the true dreamers. My mother always told me I was a dreamer, lost among the stars and striving for more than a simple answer. She had the softest laugh and a gentle smile. The feathers that layered over her skin kept me warm during the harsh blizzards that plagued us, she was always so warm. My father was the one who taught me everything, mostly hunting. He would always wake me up during the night to see the stars glisten with untold stories, shining brightly against the vast void. I’ve grown used to being alone, being left behind and forgotten for an unknown reason. I’m used to this feeling of blackness that lies in my heart, the one that slowly grows like root over your being, the one that burns in your chest and constricts your eyes until the they burst with tears. The feeling of acknowledging the hollow feeling in the heart, and the misery of knowing that nothing can be done about it. Though there's still a tingling feeling of hope that sparks in the deepest area of my soul, a hope of love and comfort that would leaves the nerves tingling and the blood pumping. Isolation was all my life revolved around, like a puppet without it's strings. Was this the way I was meant to live like for the rest of my life? Feeling cold and numb? Without hope or warmth of another? The mountains that surrounded me reached the heavens it seems, but they were to big to travel over. Though what did I have to lose? My life? My family? I'm just a husk, hollowed from the inside until nothing was left. Perhaps things will change, but one can only hope. |
