Main Theme

______ One might be surprised to learn that the leader of a Wind flight clan is a light dragon. But the Wind clan wasn't always this way. As a young dragon, Misty had hatched alone at the very edges of Light territory. She sought a clan to live with for her childhood years, and found one- but she grew restless there. Setting out for the Mirrorlight Promenade, she was ready to claim her destiny. A small group of misfits joined her, some of the earliest members of the clan- Antimony and Sylvan. Sylvan in particular intrigued her- the wildclaw had come from the other edge of the sea, near the Windswept Plateau. Her small clan grew, and flourished. She raised children- some of them left for other clans, some who exalted themselves- and even a young Shadow flight nocturne who was not her own. The elemental magic of the land was on the rise, and the clan's days were safe and happy.

______ Then came the clan's greatest tragedy. Horror incarnate. An emperor laying waste to her beautiful Sunbeam Ruins. She gathered those she could, and the clan fled for the sea. Sylvan and Iblis were invaluable to her. Her son, ever the diplomat, held the broken clan's dragons together throughout the journey. Sylvan knew the territory and helped lead the way across the sea. And when the clan finally came to the edge of the sea, the soaring pillars of the Reedcleft Ascent towered above them. This was not where they came from. But it could still be a home. Shortly after their arrival at the Windswept Plateau, Misty's daughter, Buttercream, was hatched. The young imperial had the green eyes of the Wind flight. This was not Misty's home, true. But it was a future, and a place of hope, for the generations after her.
