Merlin

The eldest son of the chief and founder of the clan much was expected of him. Merlin was taught the way of life that his father had set for them. He was to learn of it and teach and guide his fellow drakes in the way. A great cry was heard in the realm, a fight for Dominance was proclaimed. Ulabalar left with his mate Shearah to turn others from the fight to live peacefully. Just before leaving Ulabalar made Merlin the head of the clan. Awaiting for his father's return still, Merlin has been trying to keep the peace within the clan. Many have left and some have shown anew. Feeling troubled, Merlin went for a fly to help clear his thoughts. As a storm was coming in he spotted a very bloody Fae trying to keep in the air. He started to fly towards them to ask if they needed help. As he got closer he realized it was a female. She had passed out from blood loss. He caught her. With difficulty, he flew back to the lair. He placed her in an unused nest and treated her wounds. It would take 2 days before she awoke. He discovered that she was greatly mistreated. He permitted her to stay. His heart went to her as soon as he had cleaned her up. Keena would be his to protect and cherish.
