Inspired by (and rules layout directly ripped from) FirozTaverbi's Biolocke
Rules
The rules are lightly inspired by the classic Pinkerlocke: each daily item pulled from Pinkerton's Plundered Pile dictates which action is done that day. The following key will be used for progress:
- Section Absent
- Unsatisfactory
- Happy with this
Food - Lyrics
This is the lyrical section. focus primarily on the way the words sound when writing it, and secondarily on the imagery the meanings carry with them. The type of food determines the writing style of the day's action:
- past-tense first person storytelling.
- second/third person storytelling.
- inquisitive or instructive.
- immersion-building. drag people in by every sensory organ they've got.
Material or Trinket - Melody
This is the section that will decide the melody of today's action:
- Dragonmade: artist imitation. take whatever Favorite ArtistTM you listened to last or have stuck in your head currently, and incorporate elements of theirs into your melody.
- Minerals & Ores: edit whatever melody has been building so far in an existing song block, and slightly change the chord progression associated with it for the day's section.
- Organics: complete chord progression contrast. if it's a minor key song, attempt to highlight the major-sounding aspects of it, and vice versa.
- Trinkets: free space! build build build! just do something, anything at all.
Familiar - Compile or Combine
If you have an uncompiled song block that has more than one element*, compile all of them using OnlineSequencer.

If there are no uncompiled song blocks that contain more than one element*, tweak two separate song blocks until you find a way to combine them, and then merge their bio formatting!

*(excluding the anatomy/item rarity element)

Battle Item - Instrument Arsenal
Find a new unconventional sound to use as an instrument in a song.
Item Rarity - Anatomy of the Song
This is the section that will decide what part of the song is being worked on:
- Verse. Write a verse or two
- Chorus
- Bridge
- Rubato
- Subliminal pattern. Make the underlying heartbeat of your song something weird as hell and permeating the entire rest of the song.
- Go completely off-script. add a tumor to your song and find a way to tie it in. good luck.

Missed days can be made up for, or extra "days" can be added, to the Biolocke using items requested at Crim's Collection Cart, using the same rules for each item listed above. Trading an item with Crim allows you to skip this item unless you are making up for missed days.
