 B A C K G R O U N D
As a hatchling, Pyrite endured the slings and arrows of misfortune, a childhood kidnapped by sky pirates. To survive, he challenged the pirates, and established his position as a lethal fighter. The pirates accepted him as their own, and together conquered the skies. Pyrite played along until he could make an escape, and find a home for himself. The opportunity presented itself when the pirates found themselves at the mercy of the royal court back on the Southern Icefield, finally captured. The pirates were sentenced to eternal imprisonment, barred from flying ever again, and Pyrite suffered the same sentence, by his association with the pirates. The sentence, icicle chains and isolation on frigid floes. The prisoners never flew again. Pyrite, however, realised could still fly, unencumbered by the chains and so he escaped from the floes and returned to the Fortress of Ends to clear his name. One elderly denizen recognized the colours of the young dragon, and believed him to be the Lost Prince. Pyrite had no recollection relations to royalty, even though he could confirm that he had indeed been kidnapped by pirates as a hatchling. The kingdom welcomed him despite the uncertainty and gifted him with the Spirit of Ice. Pyrite expressed gratitude, but did not want to take advantage of their generosity, and left the kingdom in search of a new home.

B I O G R A P H Y
Soon enough, the young dragon soared above the Starwood Strand of Starfall Isles, soon taking notice of a clan. It was refreshing not to be recognized. Pyrite stuck with the Royal Comet Clan longer than intended, fascinated by the world in the stars, and began a life in its service. He quickly gained the respect of his fellow denizens, and earned a position among their ranks as an ambassador. He also serves on the Comet Council. Our lost prince found love for the first time in the Starfall Isles where he met his mate Rysight. Together, they are proud parents of beautiful offspring. Pyrite left his life as alleged royalty behind, choosing instead to keep to his chosen path as a part of the Arcane clan. Despite the power struggle for clan leader, Pyrite fulfills his duties and responsibilities as ambassador respectfully. Pyrite stands as the face of the clan, the first to meet with other clans interested in an alliance or threatening to battle. Pyrite reports to Petrichor the Gentle, a brilliantly coloured-Coatl of few words. Communication isn't much of a problem seeing how the two often see eye-to-eye and have a mutual understanding of wanting the best for the clan. Pyrite cannot say the same for Apocalypse...
