Glimmer vs Runes: A different perspective

It's whispered Rune MFs have more of a tendancy to seek knowledge of one specific topic and immerse themselves in it whilst Glimmers tend to lean more toward "first impressions" and the things that go along with being a model dragon. examples of this can be but are not limited to performance art, costume creation, speech writing, etc.

BlueFire Royalty to Avalon, are the children whose genes exhibit the Metallic/Alloy combination, specifically in the color blue. The BlueFire Lore says these dragons have been transmogrified to perpetually wear a "skintight suit of armor." The armor is bewitched to allow said dragons to become literal shadows.

The experiment was conducted by an arcane dragon whose clan consisted of mostly shadow dragons. Trickmurk was just around the corner and the idea was that the resulting effect could be used as a prank... well it all went horribly wrong as the effects never wore off, but were transferred to the offspring of the affected. Thus BlueFires were discovered.

They found this effect to be something of a curse (and a blessing depending on whom you asked) and so they preferred not to "taint" the bloodlines of other dragons. The less non-BlueFire babies these Imps had, the better, so they'd stick to their own kind for mates. They are Imps for the simple fact that not many others were honestly that curious to see "what would happen if...?"
