Easily the coolest guy that anyone could ever hope to meet, Dave is a wildclaw that one can’t help but respect in everything that he does. But being born and raised in a crowded clan in the Scarred Wasteland definitely didn’t work well for him in the long run, especially when it came to his family. Once their parents had left home Dave was left only with his older brother to raise him, a sibling that didn’t really have time for childish hatchlings and forced Dave to grow up far too quick even for a plague dragon. Their sparring lessons were needlessly brutal, any attempt at caring was overshadowed by the pain left by his bro’s sword and complete lack of communication. Dave was eventually forced into running away from his home clan when they got attacked by other clans in the area, but he never turned back when he finally had freedom. At first he’d had no clue where he was going, he hadn’t exactly had a lot of knowledge about the world outside of the wasteland and had gotten lost shortly after running from home. He was lucky to be found by an imperial who had been simply taking a walk outside of her clan’s lair, he was cautious and ready to fight at anytime. But when offered the chance for shelter and food, Dave followed the mage he would come to know as Rose into her home clan. The other members of the clan came to adore him quickly, he had a way with words that was foreign to them as they didn’t really hear ‘rapping’ as he called it very often in the Starfall Isles. Zevran was also astounded by his ability with a blade, and Dave was offered a position as a knight with no training necessary. Naturally he was far more skilled with his sword than he was with magic despite being surrounded by arcane dragons, but he grew close to Rose like a sister the longer he stayed and she grew curious about a strange air of time magic that surrounded him. He had really been hardly paying any kind of attention to Rose and her wizardry when she brought into existence… himself; from another timeline where he had become so drastically changed by magic that he could hardly be considered the same person. Getting used to seeing a clone of himself was already strange enough on it’s own, but when a pearlcatcher leaped through a portal created by her godly dog he knew he was just going to have to get used to the weirdness of Ridley’s clan. Luckily the pearlcatcher named Jade, turned out to be just as cool as himself for him to become fond of her enough to ask her out, and when John arrived as well their group was finally complete.
