Moxie was born into the clan under its shadow reign, as her eyes would tell, however, she's just as potent a spellweaver, if not maybe more, than her direct superior--of whom she has her own opinions about.
Growing up a Skydancer in shadow was certainly.....interesting. As she is generally the only consistent skydancer in the lair, she grew up overwhelmed by a lot of emotion...and given the nature of how Shadow tends to be as an element, this shaped her into a rather heartless dragon. She has a deep passion, but mostly for her craft, and other dragons seem to stand in her way. This attitude reminded Xephras of herself, and her ability to excel in augmentative spellweaving got her where she is currently.

Next to Exie, Moxie's the most important confidants to Xeph--together they work on tweaking existing spellwork, and possibly even synthesizing their own combinations.
Her expertise lies in augmentation--most aesthetic magic can easily be undone, peeled off, nay, Mox doesn't like that, and much rather prefers making spells bond in more literal manners. The illusion of the lack of a neck? Haha, that's cute, Mox can make this dragon function without a neck at all!
She has, on several occasions, managed to mangle Imperials magically to create something very, very close to an emperor--usually to teach a lesson, though one seemed to really like the idea of having all that power--and they've been promptly just shipped off to the shadowbinder to deal with instead.
Moxie, as a typical dragon born of shadow, finds this hilarious.

Has somehow managed to find herself collaborating with mechanics in order to put imperial consciousness in non-imperial flesh for the sake of preventing further issues. It's not nearly as fun as it sounds, but it's curious enough to grab her interest.
