Lorus does not know who his parents were, if he has any family at all to begin with. He considers only his familiar partner and Bray as his direct step-parents, but we will never know who they truly are…
His familiar, a Dappled Dunhoof who never gave her name even after such a long time, found his egg abandoned in her territory. According to her, she brought his egg with him to a safe place which turned out to be The Windswept Plateau. There, she tried her best to keep the hatchling healthy and away from Beastclans and other dragon clans in fear of the hatchling being brought into a dangerous family. One day, she ran into Bray, a traveling dragon from the Ice Flight who was merely making a detour through Windsinger’s land. Bray was hesitant to approach the duo, but when she did, the Dappled Dunhoof claims she didn't mind the dragon's company at all. So, deciding it was smarter for a dragon to raise a dragon, she let tiny Lorus be cared for by the kind adventurer. However, she refuses to leave their side as a final deal. Lorus is raised by Bray afterwards, the Dunhoof his best partner and friend besides his step-mother. His childhood was calm and he learned quite a bit from his caretakers. He also met a Guardian dragon named Straff who stayed with him up until the clan was created... (UPDATED) Now, he is the co-leader of the Breeze Cat's. While he founded the clan we know today, he didn't think he was up to the task of leading such a group for long. Instead, he trained ShiBao for two months so he could step down and let someone else take his place. He originally wanted to be an adviser and leave co-leading to someone else, but all of his friends (including an outraged Bray) told him to just stay Co and "Deal with it." Regardless, he's glad that the attention is elsewhere and a good amount of pressure is off his shoulders. Lorus is very kind and friendly to his clanmates and any allies he knows. He hates getting into violent situations or fighting whatsoever, but if he has no choice, he tries to make the right offensive call. He has the respect of all his clanmates regardless, and is a listener to anyone who may be troubled. While no one really knows why he doesn’t have a wife yet, they all love him equally... He especially likes hanging around Bray, ShiBao and the hatchlings. Not too long ago, Lorus underwent a transformation. He wasn't expecting the outcome, but he does not regret it. He considers his Gaoler status to be a high honor. When others ask about his former Tundra self (if they were among the clan during those days of course or have heard rumors), he tells them that he is now a Gaoler and his Tundra self was a past life that is no more... |
