Named after the method of artfully pruning a tree so that it stays small


‍‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ A small skydancer stands off to the side, eyes closed, muttering something unintelligible. Just as you ponder whether to approach him or to back away, he snaps his eyes open and looks directly at you. You can't help but wince when you see how unnaturally wide his eyes are opened, almost entirely white with piercing orange pupils.
‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ "You are afraid of me, and soon you will be taken away from me." he states flatly, his expression unchanging. He takes a few heavy steps but then seems to decide against it, swaying on unsteady feet.
‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ Another skydancer quickly approaches you and whispers in your ear, "Something strange possesses Bonsai and allows him to perceive some of the future. He means no harm, but it's best not to hang around him for too long." Then you are whisked away by the other dragon, only to realize that Bonsai had been right.
