Fever was born as a normal dragon, but her father felt a deep sorrow at her birth nonetheless. It made her mother nervous, as Tobias is a powerful seer, and after a few months their dear daughter was afflicted with a sort of flesh-eating blight. Tobias was able to direct Lyseria on what herbs would help the child, and while the blight was quickly stopped, the damage is irreversible. However, Fever does not seem to mind, and Lyseria considers her job done, as she herself has lived with her skull exposed for quite a long time now. These things just happen, they agree, when you live amongst Plague
