Biography

TYOMISH

Tyomish came out of his egg smiling, despite the cool autumn air which swept across the rocky expanse of Dragonhome. The smile that he greeted the world with, was one that rarely ever left his face after that day. He was always jovial, striving to bring others happiness even when it seemed impossible to do so. He had a natural talent for improvisational story telling, and punch-line delivering. The other hatchlings in his clan would gather around him after they were supposed to be asleep and try to giggle quietly as he told them silly stories. Inevitably however, one of them would find it impossible to stifle a belly laugh--and one of their parents would wake up and tell them all to return to bed.

Tyomish found himself continuing to keep the company of hatchlings, their exuberance and sometimes humorous reactions to discovering new things about the world brought him immeasurable joy. He found himself regularly offering to watch over hatchlings when other dragons his age would rather be off exploring, training, or hunting. It wasn't that Tyomish had an aversion to any of those other activities, its simply that he would rather make a hatchling laugh or feed their curiosity than do just about anything else.

There did come a point when Tyomish decided to leave Dragonhome. He wanted the opportunity to see a bit more of Sorienth, and start a new chapter in his life. After traveling through the Tangled Wood for a period of time, he found himself on the shore of The Sea of a Thousand Currents. It's expansive, shimmering surface took his breath away. He had never seen anything like it.

It was here that he found this clan to call his home, and soon became the official Hatchling Caretaker. He can often be seen carrying the young ones on his back along the shore, or sitting with them by a tide pool -- their bursts of laughter sometimes leading to the sea creatures ducking inside their holes for safety. He has found his true calling, and every hatchling who grows up under his care loves him like an older brother.
