'I've failed as a soldier, a servant, a clansmen, and most importantly ... a father. I have nothing left to lose.' Little is known of he who never sleeps. Some believe him to have been a brilliant king's guard, fated to defend for an eternity. Is his real name Bludgeon? Surely not, but there must have been a reason for him to go by this pseudonym. Kept awake by his haunting regrets, Bludgeon is sure to protect the clan from imminent threat. Some would say there is no better Guardian than him, it is even thought that Gorgon admires his sturdy form, but Bludgeon would never claim himself a great dragon. Impending doom is always on his mind, as he waits for the final cleansing of all dragonkind. A tragic hero, there's no denying it, but a soft spot can be sensed deep within his core. A fateful night with Gorgon lead to the birth of three ferocious children. Gorgon was delighted, and oddly maternal for her nature. Bludgeon looked away from the hatchlings, a single tear darted down his face. The sun was blazing that day, and as he looked towards the World Pillar, he finally said: "We cannot keep them, my queen," Stunned, she snarled: "What on Earth are you talking about, they're heirs to our clan," "Heirs that I will fail to protect" She sighed deeply. She knew not of his past, but it was clear to her that he was adamant. She gazed upon her first children, not letting herself cry."This isn't going to work out. I'll be looking for a new partner to nest with." "They belong to Earthshaker now." Gorgon could no longer bring herself to speak with him as they did in the past. As a valued ally, he stayed with the clan, but it was never the same. |
