Looking up to the sky as her lone egg was hatched, the mother Tundra saw the North most star shining, and called him by that star.

He is a gentle quiet leader, but very caring for the other tundras in his lair. He is cautious about other species joining his clan, because they seem unequipped for the deep cold of the region. He looks to his mate, Ursa, who a bit more versed is life beyond their icy continent, for guidance with understanding other dragons. She was also named for the stars of her birth day. Their mating was considered to be written in the stars since Polarus, the North Star, is part of the Ursa Minor that she was named for.
