Soel has found himself working for Rea in and around the lair, doing maintenance and housekeeping. He enjoys the job, helping out and keeping things organized.

He gets on with most of the band, though Kari has been his best friend since they were hatchlings. While she's in the field Soel finds himself dragged along by Dorain more often than not.

Recently, his longstanding crush on Saroi, that he could barely admit even to himself, was answered unexpectedly. The Chief is as fond of him as the other way around, and Soel doesn't mind sharing.

Soel acts as a stud for Capricorn, who isn't otherwise romantically inclined.
