Rubiss

Rubiss is one of the quietest Dragons you will ever meet and comes off as more aggressive than may be intended. She has been eternally bonded to Sapphic since they were mere hatchlings. Sapphic has always had trouble with words in particular and is a very nervous (and maybe even a little neurotic) dragon. Because of this, Rubiss sticks close to her side at all times, guarding her against any mental or physical strain. Rubiss is a strong fighter, with a bit of a temper nonetheless, yet maintains a quiet form around others. Her intelligence may be comparable to Sapphic's, yet she holds to a belief that actions will always speak much louder than her words could ever reach.

Sapphic was found by Caligulas and Lucian during a hunt while Sapphic was picking flowers for her mate, Rubiss. When they came upon her scampering around in the field, Lucian asked if she was okay because she seemed slightly frantic. In a moments notice, Lucian was being taken down by the smaller Coatl, Rubiss. In a large misunderstanding, Rubiss had worried that Lucian had wanted to hurt Sapphic and attacked without warning. Caligulas found her straightforward and ready attitude appealing and asked the two if they wanted to join. Sapphic, through many pauses and apologies, managed to spit out that they had been outcast for being different and did not want to find another family just to be sentenced out again. Caligulas and Lucian welcomed them and explained that everyone in the clan was 'just a wee bit off' in their own right and that they'd fit in no problem. They have followed the clan ever since.
