Biography
SELENE
Keeper of the Inventory | Seer
Keeper of the Inventory | Seer
|
No one quite remembers how Selene came to the clan. Even if you ask the other seers, none of them can pinpoint when she came, or where she came from. The coatl herself speaks of no family, no clan before Olympuswatch, only vague memories of others she's known in the past...but nothing definitive. But here she finds her home, and here she waits...for whatever future waits for her. Two names are the only ones that she remembers, she thinks at least, remain in the back of her mind. Selene cannot quite remember why she knows these names...if they are those she should seek out, those who will be seeking her out, or those she should be looking to avoid. But she is certain, in time, that she will know. William. This name makes her uneasy. There is a great love attached to it, but there is something that makes her wary. The name is tainted in crimson, blood on claws from death, though who had forced the blood to be there was anyone's bet. Had he been a killer? Had he fought back in defense? She didn't know. She couldn't tell. But the memory was painted in blood, in pain and confusion, in love and hatred. And even through it all, nothing sounded quite right. Even through the haze of her memory, she knew something wasn't right. She was missing a piece of this puzzle, and that was what made this memory dangerous. She needed to know more, and she didn't know if she wanted to. But some piece of her past was locked away in whoever William was or had been...and some day she would need to come face to face with whatever it meant. But perhaps, she could know more before that day came. Damien. This name was different. There was pain, a trace of the crimson red from her other memory, but there was an abiding love and sadness along with it. Perhaps a past mate, though never bearing hatchlings? She couldn't be sure. Perhaps a mate, a friend, someone very dear to her heart...lost to the darkness, to the other side. But there was a hope that she held to, that perhaps Damien was not lost forever. Perhaps she would be able to make her way through the world and find him again. He needed to be found. She didn't know why, but if she knew nothing else, he needed to be found. For a seer, her vision was incredibly fuzzy and vague, though she tried not to let her uncertainty show to the others. Cassandra assured her that she had nothing to fear; that even if her vision failed her, there was more in the clan for her. Selene took this to heart, managing the inventory for the clan, seeing what they needed and what they could dispose of. It was something she found skill in, found comfort in. Looking at pieces of the past and finding where they all fit...it was what helped keep her grounded. And in those pieces, she looked for memories. She looked for new visions. She looked for anything that might tell her something about William and Damien. Something about her past. Something. Anything. |
