Iola

Cyanus and Orchid were sure that the last egg wasn't going to hatch. It had been hours since the other three hatchlings had come out of their eggs, but this last one wouldn't give so much as a wiggle. Giving up, they bid farewell to the few dragons left, saying they just didn't wish to go where the shadows were so dark they would struggle to see.

It wasn't until the sun was just about to dip below the horizon that the first cracks formed. Aerona and Alun had been standing by, making sure nothing happened to the abandoned egg. With the last, dying rays of the sun, a small Bogsneak head poked through a hole at the top of the egg. Pink eyes stared the two down, and they noticed her lovely blend of purple and pink markings. There were blue highlights, reminding the two of the glowshrooms back in the Shadow domain.

It was with this child that they finalized their plans. They would leave in a few hours, when the child had rested from fighting from her egg. The two named her Iola, meaning Rebirth. She would be the first new member of their small Clan, and mark their return to their original home.
