Biography

As the daughter of one of the clan's oldest couples, with Emerald being one of the founding members, Heather enjoyed a certain amount of privilege within the clan. All the other hatchlings wanted to be friends with her because her mother was 'so cool!'. Of course, she didn't mind one bit. She loved having lots of friends to play with, and she had her father's easy-going way of getting along with everyone.

Even from a young age, she received combat training from both her mother and her big brother, Jade. However, she soon decided that her path didn't lead the same direction as her adventurous elder brother. She had the same wanderlust, but not nearly as much, and she had too much tying her to her home. As such, she reached a compromise by becoming one of the clan's foremost hunter/gatherers. She loved learning woodsmanship, and she soon became exceptionally good at it.

Eventually, while on a particularly long hunting trip, she ran into a fellow huntsman: a dragon from a light clan, named Seiran. The two initially quarrelled over who was allowed to hunt there, but after running into each other a few more times they struck up a strange friendship/rivalry. After this had gone on for a while, with the two of them getting ever closer, Seiran eventually asked Heather to join his clan and become his mate. Heather almost accepted, but told him she couldn't; that she loved him, but loved her clan just as much and couldn't choose between them. Seiran realised how hard it was for her to say that, so the next time they met, he surprised her by coming with a pack on his back. He told her 'if you can't leave your clan, then I'll just have to come to you'. She cried with joy and called him an idiot, and the two of them have been mated happily ever since.
