Some voodoo specialists who won't be named say that Daanik's doomed to suffer eternally and that she is a curse to all that cross her path. She doesn't believe these things and wanders off to fights and battlefields. Daanik hopes to one day become a great warrior and gain control of kingdoms that she fights so to do this she trains under Dovah a War Veteran.
