a true beast of the plains and the sea, Octahedron spends most of their time collecting the ingredients the priests yearn so loudly earnestly for; collecting the elk's shank or eye of quiriq that the pages list in their long spans of ingredients. The only connection the cult has with the outside world, the trade goes through this dragon as well - their obedience trusted by the high priests immensely. Of course, the mirror does have a soft spot within their rugged heart and will try and sneak hatchlings out to experience what they never could. So much for iron-clad loyalties.
