Biography

Scout - Healer - courteous, focused, unfazed

A vibrant skydancer with a cheerful attitude and a fascination with everything plague-y

Venom may be small compared to his clan members, that doesn't mean he's any less of a valuable addition to the group. He's very fast and keen of sight, making him an excellent messenger and scout.
As a plague dragon he has an affinity for disease and decay which is a little off putting to some of his clanmates. His generally upbeat demeanor contrasts with his casual attitude towards morbid subjects. Even the notion of a dying clanmate doesn't flinch him. This is not because he's callous, in contrary, he's only happy to help determine what illness has befallen a dragon or what ingredients should be gathered to cure a certain poison. However, he sees death as something to be welcomed when it happens. There's no greater joy to him than the thought that his body will decay and become one with the earth.

This attitude may seem odd for a dragon of Venom's Flight, as the fight for survival is the key ideal of Plague dragons. As a youngster, Venom spent some time exploring the quarantine zones, oases of life and plantgrowth the Plague Flight uses as testing grounds for new diseases. He was fascinated by all the growing, living plants and creatures, and by how they lived off of each other.
These small areas didn't satisfy him for long and when he had become older, and skilled at using the bow, he made a trek to the Viridian Labyrinth. While many Nature dragons were understandably wary of him, he managed to meet some who allowed him to stay with their clan for a while. His understanding of disease and healing was valuable to them, and they in turn taught Venom everything about natural antidotes and deadly poisons. He perfected his archery skills while flying with these clans and returned home much the wiser.
However, Venom's interests in Plague's most prominent rival Flight didn't sit well with his old clan. Despite his efforts to make the others see how they could benefit from learning from Nature, they dismissed his ideas as Nature propaganda and regarded him as a turncoat. Realizing that he couldn't sway them and that they didn't see him as one of their own anymore, Venom left to travel the rest of Sornieth and expand his horizons further.

He ended up on the Southern Icefield years later. There he became a member of the then newly established Scavengers of the Frozen Wastes, lead by a mirror called Striker.

Recently, he's been joined by his younger brother Reptile, a large bogsneak who he used to be be close with when they were younger. While he'd grown to be much bigger than him, the bogsneak had always looked up to his older brother and been quite distraught when he left in search of adventure. Hoping to make up for lost time, Venom took him to Striker in the hope that he could join.
However, Reptile had by then built up an unsavory reputation of robbery and bullying, causing Striker to refuse him to join. Venom was disheartened by this, but understood her reasoning. He opted to have his brother be allowed into the clan once he'd worked on clearing his name, which his Striker agreed to. Now, Venom travels down to the Snowsquall Outpost from time to time to visit him and gather supplies.
