SHAMAN "POISONOUS DANGER UNDER ICY SKIN"
Origins - Imagin was the product of a brief stint between Shuijing and Lapiza. Down on her luck, Lapiza turned to love to make her happy, but it was not meant to be. Imagin was born with a strange disease that made his skin poisonous to the touch. Determined to find a cure so that he could live a normal life, Imagin took the advice of Chryss and turned to the art of shamanism, a style of magic that is a combination of witchcraft, divination, and healing, and focuses on drawing power from the natural world.
Using the abilities that acquired as he grew older, studying and practicing, Imagin was eventually able to freeze his skin, essentially making him a living, breathing ice sculpture, but rendering his poison harmless. Since then, he has honed his skills even more and now uses his gifts to help other dragons in pain. Personality - Imagin is an introvert, but only until you get to know him, when he is more likely to open up and talk to you. He loves nature, animals, plants, and creatures of all kinds, and is a firm believer in peace as opposed to war as a way of solving conflicts. He tries to teach his appreciation for nature to the hatchlings of the clan, and, occasionally, adults, that will listen. Relationships - Imagin was never told who his parents were. He has suspicions, but he would never pry and ask Ophelia, as he knows that mothers and fathers have a right to secrecy. Instead, he simply accepts his role in the clan and spends plenty of time with his apprentice, Lukrow. He is very calm and patient with her, as he understands her lack of self-esteem. Sometimes he tries to appeal to the more shy dragons, such as Santorai and Yumino, and tries to teach them magic of his own, but his attempts are fruitless. They are quite happy on their own. Clan Role - As a shaman, Imagin has many of the abilities that Chryss has, although his methods are a bit more natural and suited for everyday use rather than in battle. Thus, Imagin is in charge of healing and tending to dragons who are sick or who have minor injuries. He enjoys his job. He likes helping others. Magic - Imagin is skilled in Arcane magic and Nature magic, and specializes in healing and calming spells. As a shaman, his spells require components from nature to work properly, after which, the respective components are honorably burned and thanked for their sacrifice. The art of shamanism is all about respecting nature, which Imagin takes in stride. |
