BEGIN COMMANDER'S LOG: DATE

So, uh, Chakwas says I'm fine. Not sure I believe her, and I'm not so sure she believes it either. Something about abnormal brain waves? She told me to keep a personal log, just in case something weird happens. Guess that's what this is.

Been a crazy few hours. Well, probably more like a day now, since I lost fifteen of those hours to a beacon-induced hallucination fest. Good times. I still feel like I got plastered last night, only with none of the fun. I can only remember the... "vision" sounds so hokey, but it's the word that keeps showing up in my mind. Not sure I like it. Anyway, I can only remember it in bits and pieces, but the doctor told me to record that too, in case it--just in case.

There was some kind of synthetics, but I can't... ****, this is hard. It might have been Geth, but hell if I know. Something was on fire. There were a lot of somethings on fire. Not just one place, either, but bunches of places. Biggest adrenaline trip I've felt in a lot time. I could have sworn I was cornered, and...

Enough of that. Williams is apparently on board, which is good. She seems competent, and it would be a crime to leave anyone on that ********. Paradise my ***. Kaidan feels guilty about setting off the beacon, which is no surprise, but I'm not convinced he did it. Everything seems too... convenient? Does that make any sense? Hell, this has been one giant inconvenience. I bet that damn beacon's still messing with my head. Hope it didn't knock anything lose permanently.

Captain Anderson wants to take all this to the Council. Don't get me wrong, this is the kind of **** they should probably hear about, and I have no problem bringing it to their attention. But are they actually going to do anything about it? A couple of Humans claiming a Turian--a Spectre, no less--went rogue and is working with the Geth? I'm not sure I believe me. We'll be lucky if the Council doesn't laugh me out. But the Captain knows better than I do when it comes to this politicking, so I'll leave it to him. I'm perfectly capable of giving a report on demand and then shutting up.

That should be enough to keep Chakwas happy for now.
