Biography

Kamaitachi Blades Ambiguous Document Etched Tusk
but why break hearts when you can like. serrate them. piece them together like building blocks. frankenstein's heart.

The story of Helena's origins is one drenched in romance and tragedy. Helena does not have time for emotional dramas and would rather skip to the part where everyone has pieced their life together again. It's not a huge request, really! All you need to do is dissect your thoughts and feelings until you've discovered (or created) a deeper meaning for every last inclination. Only then can one achieve true enlightenment, or at least the satisfaction of having rationalized their entire life.

Part of Helena's troubles might stem from the fact that, despite being hatched in the Sunbeam Ruins, her mother hailed from the Scarred Wasteland. Thus Helena inherited a fascination with the morbid; when someone gave her the advice to "look to the heart," she tore apart the next animal she caught. Sadly, its heart looked pathetically useless, but it did give Helena the incentive to center her pursuit of knowledge around how dragons work inside - metaphorically and literally.

If nothing else, having intricate knowledge of how living creatures tick makes Helena quite the adversary. For the time being, however, she's less focused on victory and more fixated on how the foe thinks and moves and breathes; figuring out a way to stop them from doing all that is an afterthought.
