The largest member of Graygarden's merchant caravan, which basically translates to being pack mule. He seems to like the job though, or at least not mind it, but it's a bit difficult to tell sometimes what with Spencer's inability to form actual words.

People have a tendency to assume that Spencer's birdlike chirps and warbles reflect his actual level of intelligence, which isn't exactly the case - he's definitely more observant than Five if nothing else, and quite capable of carrying on a conversation if one is any good at charades. He and his caravan mates don't seem to have any trouble communicating either even if half the time there isn't a word of draconic being spoken.

Like the other members of the caravan, Spencer is considerably more outgoing than the Graygarden average. He's quite friendly, even affectionate - you've gotta initiate the contact but once you do you've got a friend for life.
