First official experiment of Astaroth's. He wondered if he was able to recreate what his wife did with Jackal. So he set off to find materials
He was able to find a tundra skeleton, and somehow got his hands on a defiled set of windbound plumage called sanguine's plumage. Which increased his chances of a success. Something was wrong though, instead of returning flesh to bone, he was only able to reanimate the skeleton itself. Even though this was not the desired outcome, he still considers this a success since she was able to move. Blood was caked to her bones and it seemed like it had no intention of coming off anytime soon, which was a small sacrifice to make for his experiment.
The black mist that swirled around her made her bones lighter and made it easier for her to move around. Since she did not have organs, she did not need to eat. Or even technically need to sleep. But she likes to stop and relax sometimes just to take in the world around her. The red hood she wears was enchanted by Empress to help her at least have some sort of memory.
