Dusk is an Airknight, a group of dragons devoted to service to their deity. Her sister is also part of this lineage. Her sister chose the path of serving a different clan until her time came for her to journey to the Timeless Peak. There, she was exalted to the Shadowbinder, where she still fights today for dominance over Sornieth. Dusk's father, Tornado, mourned for many days when he heard of his youngest daughter's Endless Flight. But Achlys, Dusk's mother, told her mate not to mourn, but to take pride in his daughter. Dusk was young then, unknowing of what was to come, or where her sister that her parents had talked so much about went. But when when Dusk's flight got whisked into a battle against Water flight, the eight-month dragon was overcame by an urge to fight. "Please do not leave, my dear." Her parents begged. But Dusk had her eyes on different matters. It all started when a handsome guardian with brown wings stumbled into the clan...
