B I O G R A P H Y

Viridius is rarely found in the amphitheater where the clan resides. Rather, he goes on long rambles into the nearby forest with his beloved partner, Umbre. While she draws meticulous images of the anatomy of flowers, Viridius composes songs and poems. His favorite themes are, funnily, not rooted in nature at all. Walking with Umbre simply inspires him to write epics about past battles as well as imagine future ones. He particularly favors writing tales about the Second Age based on the scant archaeological artifacts that have been uncovered from that time period. He strives to make history seem more alive and approachable for hatchlings as well as fully-grown dragons.

Viridius and Umbre seem to enjoy each others' company without much need for smalltalk. Rather, they revel in shared experiences and understand the other's intentions simply by making eye contact. This, however, seems to creep some of the other members of the clan out. Everyone does respect the calm and quiet forest couple and their expeditions into nature - especially since they both have contributed greatly to the library by filling it with volumes of descriptions of the local flora and fauna as well as epics about battles past and battles to come.
