Biography
Avarice is one of the few dragons who is proud of their former flight. Where else can a dragon learn to be ruthless, calculating, arrogant and precise? Its those qualities that led Audacious to quickly welcome Avarice to the clan. The only problem that Avarice had with the Ice flight was that she was constantly bored. This was quickly solved when she joined clan Vissivius, where she was appointed as trainer to the new recruits and hatchlings.
As the trainer, Avarice wakes up early in the morning and cleans up the clan's arena. Weapons need to be sharpened, arrows need to be taken out of corpses and the blood on the floor could be a slipping hazard. Every day, once the arena has been set up, she barges into the sleeping quarters of the hatchlings and new recruits and flips over their beds. She shouts at the lazy dragons to head to the arena immediately for combat training.
Once the groggy dragons assume their positions in the arena, they are handed weapons. Now the training begins. The type of training rotates every day. One day, a dragon could be shooting arrows into targets (which always happens to be the body of a dead dragon). The next day, the dragon could be swimming laps in The Wyrmwound, under the gaze of the Plaguebringer herself. The middle of the week is usually reserved for sparring, where the hatchlings fight each other using their weapon of choice. Injuries often occur on these days, which could take months to heal. Last week, one unfortunate dragon got one of his claws ripped off.
At the end of the week, Avarice can be seen meeting with Pestiferous to discuss tactics and which recruits would be best suited in certain areas of the barricade.
