While Dinara surprised the clan initially with the announcement of a male heir, it was more surprising when she announced the addition of a princess to the royal family.

Well, the announcement was not exactly a surprise to all; the fact that the prince is not exactly princely material has been a well- circulated rumor for some time. Naturally, it was assumed the Queen Regnant chose another female child to step in should the prince do something... unbecoming of one to be king. However, the selection of Visenya only seems to add to the puzzle rather than help solve it.

Somewhat similar to her mother, Visenya is a reclusive figure, spending much of her time with her nose buried in a book in the royal archives or locked away in her study. Despite this, she already has a formidable reputation as a powerful sorceress, some claiming that she practices forbidden magic. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen. However, it is no secret that Visenya's primary objective at the moment is strengthening her powers. She is known to invite other practitioners from foreign lands to hold court, which to many is strange behavior unbecoming of an Ice dragon's typically insular worldview. These meetings frequently include a very vociferous Fire priestess claiming an enemy will come to destroy the clan. Many in the clan are still wary to listen to the words of a Fire dragon and pay her no mind, but Visenya apparently finds something... of interest in the strange Fire priestess's prophecies.

For now, Visenya's endgame is seemingly only known to Visenya herself.
