______ Having a passion for smiting since she was young, Flare had always wanted to work with an anvil and hammer despite her arcane heritage. Inspired by the tales from her grandma she went to the Ash fall Waste in order to become an apprentice.

It took almost a year before someone took her under their wing as their apprentice, and it was hard for flare at first but she was determined to become a black smith. Soon she was making good quality tools and armor for dragons and other black smiths were curious that an arcane dragon who were known to be book smart and avid magic users to withstand the heat and to have the strength needed to forage steel.

After years of apprenticeship Flare began to use her inherited arcane magic to enchant armor and weapons, only then did she start to gain popularity and respect for her creations. Once she became adept her teacher told her that they had nothing left to teach her and could only train from here on out, she bowed her head and thanked them for everything before gathering her tools and heading out to run her own forge.

She missed her family and birthplace, so she decided to open her forage in the Crystal Spine Reaches. However she was at a lost when she tried to return only to find that they had moved, Flare was crestfallen but that didn’t stop her from looking for her family. While looking she ran into a fellow Wildclaw named Flint, his introduction was not well received as he flirted with her only to be threatened by a hammer to the face.

It was now getting late, unable to find her family she had nowhere to stay before Flint came out of nowhere. Flint explained that he had followed her, worried that it could get dangerous in the Starwood Strand in the late hours of the evening, even more so at night. Flare was a little ticked off that he had stalked her but the other was right and was grateful once Flint had promised her a place to stay.

Their clan wasn’t too far from where they were and once they got their Flint first introduced her to the clan head, Sylf. At first the sea foam wyrm was against it but agreed to let her stay once Flare explained that she would leave once she found her family. Soon days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and then it was a year since Flare had stayed. By now she was comfortable and had already set up a forge and had made a name for herself.

She wonders where her family could have gone still but where she was now, it was home.
