Biography

"The Forest Floor Forager"

Blending in with the dusty leaves and underbrush of the Everbloom Gardens, Portobello is most at home foraging the forest floor for his favorite treat: mushrooms!

While it's true that Fae dragons eat insects, Portobello learned long ago that a really good insect stew has complex flavors, including the earthy, meaty notes of edible fungi that grow plentifully in the Gardens, and the more mushrooms, the better. Dragons at Rhodope's Rest always look forward to mealtime when Portobello's back from foraging!

Often, when travelling along his favorite paths, Portobello keeps company with a spotted Faun by the name of Oakbark. Oakbark will happily point out mushrooms that Portobello doesn't spot—but only if Portobello shows him to any berry bushes he finds!
