Backstory
He was originally born into an arcane clan which was quickly destroyed during a dominance battle. He set on traveling at a young age, mutations slowly developed. He stopped place to place trying to find a place to call home. At a very young age, a group of teenage dragons ganged up on him and brutally beat him up. During this battle, Duskinoor unleashed a powerful spell and scared and hurt all of his attackers. The spell quickly tired him out and had a cruel side effect on him. His wounds became deeper and would never truly heal. They would stop bleeding for a while, then re-open and ooze. He tried his best in sealing his wounds with wraps. He limped wandering trying to find a place to heal him. He collapsed, wounded ready to die when a green skydancer found him. Raisa was on a hunting mission and luckily found him. She quickly rushed him back to the clan she had recently found. Since then Duskinoor stayed within the clan.

Family/Friends
Duskinoor hasn't had a long-term mate. Except for Noita, he loved her, he truly did, but his insecurities drove her away and she ran off from her clan to serve the deity. He has had flings to relieve stress and have kids of his own. He is honestly truly afraid to end up in a long-term relationship, afraid his magic and mutations will ward them away. Other than that, he has good friendships. His strongest has to be with Koyane. She showed up to the clan soon after he did and they were both around the same age so they were naturally drawn to each other. He loves talking about her interest in gems and explaining the magical properties of some. He's quite protective over her. Matter-of-fact, he is quite in love with her, he always tries to shake it, but he can't, especially with his late mate's abandonment. He can never bring himself to tell her, knowing he's just too ugly for such a pretty dragoness.

Personality/Behavior

He is a very silent dragon, but whenever he speaks he has a dark, raspy, and haunting voice. Usually, he uses his telepathy to speak to prevent people from becoming frightened. His roar is quite terrifying as well, it can give you chills. He does not like using his roar that often, so whenever does use it, he has a good reason. He prefers to be alone with his familiar or practicing his fighting skills than being around others. On occasion, he will hang out with Koyane, another Spiral dragon. He treats her as a little sister almost, but he tries to hide it. They often exchange stories while their familiars will play nearby.

He occasionally will spend time in the clan's library with Maldarous, conversing about magic. He often will train with magic with him as well. He loves messing with his inner magic and seeing what he can exactly do. His Zeeba companion, Zera, gets bored easily with this but tries to sound interested as much as she can. He is a powerful mage. He often spends time using his magic or practicing in the Coliseum. He and Maldarous often teach and use spells together to help each other since they both have strong magic. He focuses on fighting spells and healing spells. He does not limit his magic to just that. He goes to the library to read and learn miscellaneous spells. He is the most powerful magic user, also the combination with telepathy and telekinesis. He can rarely use his telepathy because it takes a lot of power and energy to do so.

He wears his hood so that hatchlings don't become terrified of him. He wants to seem most approachable as he can. He wants to take every opportunity to teach others about magic. That's a little hard when everyone is running from you in fear.

Lore

Duskinoor has had his powerful magic since he hatched. When he was little though, he had barely any control over it. His pulsating magic caused some mutations to form on his body. He grew a third eye and large, ram-like horns. His teeth became large, vicious, and black. He also grew at an exponential rate, causing him to be a very large spiral. When he was a teenager and practicing magic, he performed this astronomical spell which then inscribed runes and arcane magic into his scales. He even has a permanent spell circle inscribed into his chest, which he can project off of his chest and perform spells off of. Since it's so close to his heart, his strongest "sole" magic is used with those specific spells. He will use this in dire situations. While in his many travels, he stumbled across a broken arcane egg, he quickly cast a spell on the egg which captured the lost soul of the hatchling within. He was filled with grief over the abandoned and broken child so he cast another spell giving it the will to live and it came back in the form of a companion comet.
