"All that glitters is gold."
Chrysus has obsession with treasure that may have been a bit too unhealthy for her own good. Facinated by anything shiney as a child she began to steal things and horde her stolen collection away, amassing quite a large amount or jewelry and coins. As she got older she got more bold and stole more and more until one day she robbed the wrong dragon.

Finding a kindly older dragon in the forest as she was traveling, Chrysus found that the elder had collected quite a few nice things that decorated her home. As she attempted to flee the scene with her new found treasure the elder dragon chased her down and put a curse on her. That the more treasure she stole and hoarded the more she would lose her humanity and become a part of the living dead.

Despite the curse Chrysus can't stop seeking out shiny things and taking them for herself. The flesh has begun to rot away from her and hangs off her neck in tatters, but even this doesn't stop her.
