Tundis grew up in The Abiding Boneyard, alone and abandoned. Wandering around, she managed to survive for years, a surprisingly long time for a small hatchling like her. But, what she doesn't know is that she had sprung out of the Wyrmwound, screaming in pain, on the last day of October. She had laid down near the jagged teeth of the wyrmwound for three days and three nights, her tiny body writhing in pain. When she finally woke up, she didn't remember a thing about the Wyrmwound, and didn't know what it was, either. She only sensed pain from it, a dull echo memory of the pain she had endured for so long. Tundis proceeded to move on, travelling away from the Wyrmwound, trying to find a clan that would take her in. However, nearly all the clans of The Scarred Wasteland had heard of her, and thought she was either cursed or blessed by the mighty Plaguebringer. Some even bowed to her, believing she was Plaguebringer reborn as a mortal. Either way, no clan was willing to take her in- they didn't want to risk it. They thought she was dangerous. Perhaps she was, but then, all she really wanted was a friend, or even better, a clan for her to call home. Tundis then decided to travel out of the Scarred Wastelands, to somewhere where she would be at the mercy of another deity, but at least one clan should be willing to take her in. Making her way out of the Scarred Wasteland, Tundis wandered the Abiding Boneyard for many years, attempting to make her way out. On the way, she had met a familiar, Nightmare, whom decided to come with her. Finally, after a long, long time, Tundis had broken through the last pulsing tendrils of the Wastelands, and saw a deep blue, sparkling liquid-like thing. She had never seen water before, but she had a flashback to the moment she arrived on Sornieth- Surrounded by thick orange-green liquid, she remembered pushing her way upward, up and out of the cauldron. The liquid had hurt like fire, but as Tundis looked down at the sparkling blue liquid below her, she sensed a deep desire to enter, and flapping her weak wings, she had dove straight into the Sea of A Thousand Currents, immediately struggling to breathe. As Tundis struggled and flailed in the sea, strong arms caught her. A Skydancer expertly dragged her up to the air, and Tundis filled her lungs gratefully. She soon learned that the Skydancer was named Tiamat, and they soon became friends. Tiamat guided Tundis to her clan in the Sunbeam Ruins, where Tundis has lived ever since. However, her new clan never stopped her scavenger instincts, and she frequently visits the Scarred Wastelands to remember her former life, as much as she hated it. |
