A long time ago, Simiruin was cursed with a very strange effect. She was born during a Samhain celebration and it was again during another holiday that she was cursed. Samhain marks the end of harvest and the beginning of winter. She was cursed forever to stay in harvest. No matter what temperature the environment happens to be, she is always surrounded by a warm wind, a cushioning breeze that keeps her personal bubble insulated from the effects of nature. She does not even feel rain. However, as all of the Haema experience, if she goes out into the sun, she falls seriously ill.

Ever since her curse, she has only craved one source of nutrients and so she found other dragons with similar cravings and has settled down with them. She does know how she was cursed, having experienced something like a concussion, where she woke up with a painful headache and no memory, though she woke with the breeze flowing around her and a sense that her life had completely changed.

Before she was cursed, she was a fairly typical Plague dragon, roaming the Boneyard with a pack of other mirrors. After her curse, she found it difficult to trust others, wary that any one of them might have been the one who cursed her. But after living in this lair, and meeting the bubble-headed Devil, she has slowly begun to open up again. Only to the Haema for now, but maybe one day she won't be a bitter pessimist when it comes to other dragons.
