Nyx's partner in crime in every sense of the word, Styx is a prankster. He combines his origins as a carefree Wind dragon with how he was brought up as a Shadow dragon- he is playful in his pranks, he targets only those who he knows will take it in good humor. He enjoys targeting those who will react in good faith and retaliate with their own pranks- those being Krosis, Nightshade, and Serana. When he isn't pranking others, he's lavishing attention on his mate Nyx, and the two often venture out into the Tangled Wood together. He searches for shiny things to give to Nyx- he takes them to Atticus who will dutifully and over-enthusiastically make them into jewelry. There are very few shiny things in the Shifting Expanse, and Atticus is ever busy with important things. Styx has resigned himself to acting as a pick me up for others; be it by pranking or cracking jokes. He is a welcome to sight to a downcast dragon, making inappropriate jokes to coax a laugh out of the upset. He is good counsel, having a free nature means that his philosophy is "live and let live." He can help others see the bigger picture in their arguments and come to terms with their losses. He can also put a good spin on a bad situation, sometimes comically so in his attempts. Still, he has an excellent personality and is pushed by the desire to help others to do these things- even when his help is rejected, the attempt is applauded.
