Biography
"Amidst the eternal waves of time
from a ripple of change shall the storm rise
out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath"

The Awakening:
When the Focal Point was young and the Isle of Falling Stars had yet to seek the sky, there was a prison erected to cage a beast of madness within. Wardings so ancient and powerful in their magic were carved into the cavern walls to keep explorers at bay, undecipherable to even the most experienced of arcanites. This confinement was made to ensure the safety of generations of drakes to come. Until one day, runes than shamed the moon began to tremble and shudder with exertion. Brighter and brighter still, coiling, painting the walls in white until the chains binding a mulberry corpse crumbled into dust. A single breath was taken, shooting shockwaves of power to the ends of the planet. Dinok, taken to wandering in the farthest space of the Expanse, dropped his body to the ground in submission. Labored breathing filled the air as golden eyes widened in fear. He stared into the Western horizon. The eyes of contained chaos opened for all of Sornieth to see in that very moment. The goddess of war had been reawakened. And there was nothing to stop her. |
The Harbinger: "When history witnesses a great change...." Your body shook, startled awake in the dead of night. Your Irises fluttered open as you took in your surroundings, a Starwood tree the only source of light within the darkness. Its leaves rustled softly, bringing forth a show of false stars enchanting enough to calm even the most frightened of drakes. And yet... you were not calmed. Within the perfect serenity, a pair of eyes the color of chaos watched. There were no pupils to see, no emotions to read. Only the icy fear that shot through your veins upon meeting the gaze of this unspeakable beast. Large and imposing fangs opened, a low hiss sent your body into a frenzied panic. It charged towards you, and you took to the sky, flying as fast as your wings could carry you. What a terrible idea it was to nap under the starwood garden the Clan of Cosmic Lightning kept! You didn't stop flying until a voice called your name. Turning your head, a beautiful Pearlcather was trying to catch up with you, their Pearl floating by their side. The view of her runes was what finally eased your racing heartbeat. "Are you well? You look like you've seen a ghost!" She noted, and you finally recognized the dragon as Starchild of SiduVronti. She had been your guide, before you snuck away from right under her nose. You couldn't tell if they were Spirit or Dragon, and the fact that they had no physical Pearl they called their own made was slightly unsettling. No Spirits were bound to her, but all of them regarded her kindly. Yet, her pleasant presence made you ignore all the curiosities surrounding the Pearlcatcher. After redirecting your path and landing safely within SiduVronti territory, she offered you a card. "By the by, you dropped this as you flew away." It was another tarot, but It couldn't have been hers due to the fact the deck had no reaction upon your first meeting. Looking at the card, your heart dropped. A skeleton atop a Kelpie, with all of dragonkind at their feet. The symbol of Death. |
