Nisshoku was born on a moonless night, a bad omen in her clan. Her egg seemed to leech what little light was left, almost absorbing it for the young hatchling inside. Though, it seemed all the power she gained was for naught. She was born broken. Useless. At least, that was what her clan said about her muteness. She learned to cope rather quickly, using stray flower petals to get her message across. Though no one usually took the time to listen to her.

So, she grew introverted, lonely. Sad. Determined to have a somewhat normal life, or, as much as a messed up dragon like her could, she went on a journey to find a unique clan to reside in. She found it, just not how she was expecting to. She literally fell into their laps, and bloody ones at that. They were in the middle of a clan war, and she stumbled into the middle, getting instantly caught up in it. Seeing the potential, the blood soaked clan invited her to join them, become one of them. For she had taken out the majority of their enemy, along with a few of their own. But that was of no concern. She was strong, that was all that mattered. So, she learned their strange ways with blood, becoming one of their best asset's in future clan wars.
