B I O G R A P H Y
Storm had worked hours on the painting. It was a gorgeous watercolor night sky over a lake surrounded by fir trees in the midst of the summer. She had painted two small figures at the waters edge, peering out onto the water with expressions of contentment. It was her and Winterberry, an imperial that was like a sister to her. She wanted to give it to her as a gift to remind them of when they first met, and most importantly, to celebrate Winterberry's birthday. Winterberry had been part of the clan for longer than she was, and if it wasn't for her, she wouldn't have found her that day, searching the tsunami flats for her parents. A monsoon had ravaged the Sea of A Thousand Currents, and also hit parts of the sunbeam ruins. The result created devastating floods and mudslides that displaced many dragons. Winterberry had been sent to scavenge up any treasures or "lost" belongings to steal for the clan, however things took a turn when she found a blue wildclaw instead. Storm lived in the suburbs outside of The Hewn City, which was a mostly rural area. A mudslide had carried her and her parents away from the clan, as she frantically searched the rubble for any sign of their location. The young unnamed wildclaw, unfortunately, failed to see her parents again after the monsoon, as Winterberry tried to comfort the squawking dragonet, who wasn't much older than her.

Styx, the clan gatekeeper, was reluctant to let her in at first. Winterberry, however, was extremely persuasive and the Wildclaw was eventually allowed entry. The name "Storm" was picked out for her, out of respect from her origins. Assimilation came easily for Storm, as she soon found her various talents. Storm was what Winterberry called "A jack of all trades", and was skilled in a ludicrous amount of subjects and fields. Unfortunately, this also posed to be a problem for befriending other dragons, who often became jealous and agressive. Despite the common reaction, however, Winterberry stayed loyal and supportive to her new friend, and the two became inseparable. Storm was very flexible, and would often use her talents where the clan needed them the most. This included art, entertainment, battling, and scavenging. However, dispite the trauma that occurred to storm on that fateful day at the Tsunami flats, she loved swimming and diving more than anything else. Socially, Storm had the toughest time with Tsunami, a pearlcatcher who Winterberry claimed was "Just jealous". The pearlcatcher, who would mainly harass Storm over her love for the water, turned her attention elsewhere when Storm considered becoming a prophet. From Tsunami's point of veiw, Pearlcatchers were supposed to be prophets, not Wildclaws. Headstrong Storm didn't care about that, however.

Despite Tsunami's bitterness, Storm continued to toy with the idea of becoming a prophet/seer. She wanted to connect with the Tidelord and other prophets to understand more about the secrets of dragonkind. Luckily, the opportunity came when a Nocturne of unknown origin with great power appeared on the steps of the clan gate. Omni, a mysterious and powerful figure, had come to rest in the Clan. Storm became an apprentice of Omni, who taught her about energies and focusing the strength of thought to portray images of the past, present and future. Tsunami also apprenticed at that time, however was scolded by Omni for being so pugnacious. Everything shattered when Joiya flew through the gates with a handful of scrolls, her eyes wild and her wings shaking. The news had come of the Tidelord's disappearance, as confirmed with all of the water clans. Storm was shocked and angered- everything she hoped for, her idol, gone. Her drive was admirable- She vowed to not stop searching for the Tidelord until she dies. Winterberry wouldn't stop either- and would sit by her side for decades until he would be found.
