Biography
Prisoner, experiment, unwilling chronometer
Formerly a fae
Formerly a thief
The condensation of time settles heavy in her gut
Bio notes:
This former fae felon, hatch-name unknown, had the misfortune of targeting the reclusive tinkerer, Bezel, in what would become the thief's final crime. She had been warned, of course, that residents of the Bromeliad were not to be trifled with, especially when she herself was not a fighter. But, as her task was ostensibly nonviolent, the fae proceeded as planned. Her goal: the secret schematics designed by the famed horologist, known for the controversial feat of transplanting an Imperial's lifeforce into one of her works, creating a sapient clockwork being.
Infiltrating the facility was no trouble at all. The Bromeliad Clan had always presented itself with open arms, styling their lair as a hostel, athenaeum, and market all in one. The territory of the Bromeliad Boarding Home had was one through which anyone may travel freely, so long as these visitors did so without ill intent. The thief entered under the guise of a student, seeking materials from within the Bromeliad's library, and was largely ignored. Even her probing questions on the nature of the clockwork automatons scattered about the grounds were met with bored indifference. They had hosted curious patrons before, and would likely do so again. The fae's presence garnered no suspicion.
It was in entering her target's private suite, that things went immediately wrong.
No one had seen the horologist for the entire day, assuming that she had sequestered herself within her chambers as she was wont to do. But

Bio notes:
- Former fae thief; caught when attempting to steal from Bezel
- turns out job was a set up - employer wanted to be rid of her as she knew too much regarding previous crimes
- is captured and experimented on by Bezel
- is transformed into a living water clock
- slowly fills with water throughout the day
- at midnight, every night, she must stand in the surf and spit up her contents
- this is her only hour of reprieve - "Every day I drown."
- Fae's small form unsuitable for task - made a Pearlcatcher as it is the minimum size required
- Spends most of her time at the beach and has become encrusted with barnacles as a result
- Believes she can only "empty" herself within Bromeliad territory, and is thus a prisoner through her own body
- In truth, the sensation of drowning and the need to empty is largely in the mind; she could easily leave. Despite being told multiple times, she does not believe this. Fear keeps her in place.
- Bezel's disproportionate retribution was frowned upon by the other residents and she is now tasked with caring for Clepsydra (or undo-ing her actions)
- Clepsydra is actually Bezel's half-sister, sharing a father with her, but neither of them are aware of this... yet
