Once a con artist now turned into a well respected paranormal expert, Nevena follows her partners every move, hoping to save her soul from all the awful things she has done. Nevena lives with a constant guilt of what she did, the weight of it looms over her at all times, it is easy to feel her anxiety from across a room.

Taking over the Family Business at a young age, Nevena lived her life like a queen. Nothing was too expensive for the famous con artist and her family. Nevena and her family ran a constant scam of communicating with the dead for a large sum of payment, preying on the poor souls who had recently lost a loved one. Of course, not a pinch of it was real, but her customers didn't have to know this.

Her life was perfect until one day a man showed up at her door. The man claimed her to be a scam and slurred her name all over the town. This man she would come to know as Warren, a ridgeback who claimed to be able to speak with the dead. He told her a spirit had reached out to him and begged him to come put a stop to her horribly business.

Of course, Nevena didn't believe him and simply shooed him away, but soon after Nevena started to get sick, each day she would feel worse and worse then eventually asked Warren if he had poisoned her. He told her no. He told her many of the ghosts whos loved ones she had wronged and come to avenge themselves and said that only he could remove them. At this point Nevena was scared and desperate, she told him to do what he must as long as she would be okay. Warren told her he would save her, but only if she swore to take down her business and tell everyone who she really was. Both agreed to the terms and in a few days, Nevena was back to her old self. \

After this near-death experience Nevenas perspective changed, and when she found out Warren was splitting town she asked to join him. She wished to learn all that she could about spirits and truly wanted to help those she used to hurt. Warren hesitantly agreed and they began their journey together, eventually winding up at the Crooked Inn where they help many of the ghosts who reside there.
