When the sea capsizes your boat, you let it burn to steam, freeze over, acid and pure, spring waters. The illusion of weight on your back, hiding a heart of pure, spring waters.

Brim is the Old English word for the edge of the sea or any body of water; which later came to mean the edge of any sort of container.

ABOUT.
Wizened and practised hands, wizened and practised bones. Methodical and experienced as white bandages wrap around, a mouthful of pins and staples between thin lips. He pulls the next roll free from the branch of his antlers and huffs. Hold still. It won't hurt if you hold still, but he'll hurt you if you keep squirming like a hatchling. He's really getting too old for this, but someone in this nonsense parade needs to know what they're doing, and that falls to him again.

Whilst 'a grumpy old git', as he calls himself, Brim is one of the two original doctors of the dragons that would later become Thanatos. He's never been any good with magic, not for healing purposes, anyway. Sure, he can flush toxins from wounds, clean them, but there's no fancy healing water here. Even if he does use it, he's still going to close the wounds by hand, bind and bound, sighing as he does like he'd rather be anywhere but here. It's a little disconcerting, and occasionally rude, but his hands are safe.

He does happen to be quite good at knitting, and crochet. It keeps the hands busy and the mind at ease, and he is loathe to stop when someone bothers interrupting him with their bleeding and complaining and what have you. One has to wonder why he stays in such work if he hates it so much, but he shakes off any questions. There isn't as much pressure as he makes their out to be; what really drives him is an unshakeable need to look after his family. Even if his family is full of annoying, accident prone, violent idiots.

TRIVIA.
• The only Water dragon in Thanatos. No, he doesn't have visions, no he isn't a seer, we aren't all like that.
• Actually a tropical dragon, being born where Nature and Water magic intertwines. He takes a lot of hot showers to make up for how depressingly acrid the Wasteland is; and even where it isn't, it's too boggy.
• Does dote on his children, though in a deadpan sense, playing with them with the same solemn expression he wears all the time.
• Seems to exhibit no respect for authority. Tells Koschei how stupid his plans are, treats Rho like he's still a child, tells Tau he's running himself into the ground, and reprimands Phi for her lack of judgement. He's only nice to Nalvanka.
