Personality
Maple is kind, somewhat naive, and energetic. She can get easily flustered when overwhelmed or by situations and topics she does not know or is fairly unfamiliar with leading to some awkward and sometimes humiliating situations.
She means well but spending most of her life among plants instead of dragons has left her somewhat socially inept, but she is making an effort to get better.
History
Maple grew up deep within the Glade, learning about plants and herbs, how to care for them and make them flourish. Her care of these plants were unmatched and many called her plants jewels due to their brilliance and healthy glow.
Maple had little need to leave her little hovel of plants and herbs. Food was easy to come buy and she had little traffic from travelers or predators. It was like a paradise.
One day tragedy struck. She was unsure of how, but a fire was sparked just outside her well kept garden paradise and the fire swept throughout the surrounding area before claiming her beautiful home.
She felt her heart and soul shatter as she fled what had been her home since she was just a hatchling and took to the sky to avoid the flames and smoke. At night she collapsed near a lake, the smoke having finally gotten to her lungs and causing her to collapse.
She found herself a few days later in a room she had never seen before, two other beds within the room fresh and without occupants. An elegant white pearlcatcher was changing a bandage on her wing and gave her a kind smile.
Maple learned she had landed in Clan Cross, that another had brought her to Farin's clinic. Maple spent some time recovering in Farin's care at her clinic, but her lungs never properly recovered from the smoke damage and she realized very quickly that she would not be able to travel far in her condition.
Maple approached the clan leaders, explained her situation and her skills. She was given work and a new home and now sets about attending to the plants of the clan and their up keep.

Their Nest
Maple's nest is in a thin tree with many openings and is overflowing with plants. Flowers, herbs, spices, and flora of all kind decorate her nest and give it a lovely aroma. Her nest is made of similar material, grown into just the right way for her to nestle comfortably.
She has few possessions outside of her plants. She keeps her tools to care for her plants all on the ground floor.
