Biography

It was once thought by his father that Kojot was simply just an utterly mischievous fellow. Perhaps he caused a bit more trouble than your average hatchling, but his constant pranks and schemes were nothing out of the ordinary. And certainly, for a time that was true.

However, through what means no one is exactly sure, the young Imperial became possessed of a preternatural ability for getting into things and causing mayhem that made the clan's shaman take notice. After a ceremony, it was found that a spirit of mischief had somehow, some way, found itself drawn to the dragon and struck up residence inside. Kojot himself, for what it was worth, was perfectly okay with this. While distraught at the thought that his son was not really his son, Alcea came to terms with the idea eventually. His worry that Kojot's condition would cause his expulsion from the clan was waylaid by the matriarch. As long as Kojot harmed no one and did no mischief on her charge, he could stay.

While he had no direct part in the Summoner's Circle that resulted in the clan's removal to the Southern Icefield, he was, in fact, overjoyed at the entire experience. He glutted on the havoc wreaked by the spirits unleashed by the Circle, though true to his binding promise, he caused no direct harm himself. He has, however, seeded his mischief through his clan and others via the children he has sired. These children, bound by no promise to behave, have certainly caused trouble and ruckus wherever they have landed. His first mate, a gentle and kind creature that he prized above all else, left the clan after a confrontation with Kojot about his progeny and the joy he took with the fall of their clan.

While it saddened him, the spirit burning inside of him could not lie still for long. Since the banishment to the Southern Icefield, Kojot has claimed the Dreamwalker Hala for his mate, the pair of them seeking comfort in one another. What will become of their children is yet to be seen.
