Haketiel. A name for a skydancer born in the fey calamity of the northwest Cloudsong. The fey ambassador told the child that his name meant "Thorns of the rose," which as he grew older rather thought suited him. It was a mantle which he wore proudly, his fey history. Every hatchling born to his clan his age had some strangeness about them, and his was most certainly charisma. Haketiel learned this first when he was continually able to bluff himself out of trouble whenever he committed whatever offenses hatchlings are wont to do.

Fortunately, the skydancer was born of parents with grace and poise, and beneath his silver tongue his heart was more self-serving than evil. He used his charms to bolster those less fortunate--especially when it meant that he might gain a valuable ally. For this reason, he quickly became one of the most beloved dragons of his clan, and he was groomed for success by the higher-ups who couldn't help but adore him.

Haketiel left his clan with a great wealth of possessions, as well as the prayers and well-wishes of dozens of dragons, on his back. He seeks to gain even more power and riches, as suits his taste, and will use his infinite charm to get what he wants.
