Not like that had been a surprise, the Aspekterne land never seemed to stop and when the storm started you had tried any house for safety. This one, though, you began to realise looked more like the setting for a modern horror movie than anything else. With small steps you take yourself further into the household, running fingertips over wooden furniture and allowing the smell of delicious homecooked meals to grace your senses almost magically. Your fingers halt at a large book, the title catching your interest. 'Historien om Aspekterne'. The words almost singe themselves into your brain as you grab it between your two hands, pulling it closer and distressing the dust that had claimed it's home on the cover. As you go to open it a small chuckle engulfs the room, "I see you're a curious one. Go ahead, read the book. But don't blame me when you learn of things you didn't want to know". You look at the young male, then back to the book, and for a second you realise that maybe the blackout of history amongst the people was perhaps for the best. ~x~ Historien Om Aspekterne The lands our story lives on were originally founded by two sisters, Tarsa and Tahlic. Well, the lands as the Kru's have come to know them as. Originally it started off with one large kingdom, the Kingdom of Tree Kru. They were shadow descendants with strong hearts and from those they bore two daughters. 'Tahlic Silver Runs Cold' and 'Tarsa Storms Are Fading'. The two sisters had grown to be very different. Whilst Tahlic had grown gentle and kind to the world around her, Tarsa had grown cold. The two had fought for years upon years on who would be seated at the throne of their lands and when Tahlic had won she cast out her sister, along with the ones who had fought alongside Tarsa herself. This was when the kingdom split in two for the first time. Tree Kru is currently run by Sabrealla 'Creeks Run Dry' Tarsa had taken her subjects and left for their exiled lands, desert plague lands with little to nothing to survive. It had been expected for them to die off. But they did not die. Tarsa had named her kru Aspekterne and as such the clan had learnt to survive. To cope. They grew. They fought. They claimed territories and bullied other clans into handing over their resources and children in exchange for their own survival. With Tarsa in the lead they settled amongst the Plague lands and created the kingdom they are known as today. It wasn't until she was old that her life had been taken from her, taken by an ambitious member of her kru who then took claim of the throne. Her name was 'Talva Born of Stars', and she is known as being the one to create the strict linear rules the kingdom follows today. the current Queen of Aspekterne is 'Trinity Of The Falling Skies '. Centuries had past before the next split, with Tree Kru's princess (Pyrrha 'Fires on Moonlight') running off with a rogue boy into the lands that always snowed. This became what is known now as the start of Sleet Kru. At first the other Kru's had denied the ability for them to be acknowledged, and for a long time Sleet Kru suffered from losing children and food to the harsh snowstorms that threatened the lands. There was not much time where it didn't snow, and quickly the Kru began to grow and store foods to last the months between the times it didn't snow. As time progressed they grew stronger and stronger until finally Sleet Kru had become accepted as part of the kingdoms in the land, forming an alliance with Tree Kru and Aspekterne. Sleet Kru is currently lead by Mistyleine 'Storms In Spring' The next Kru to be formed was Mørk Kru, a group of bandits that claimed the territory to the side of Aspekterne, their home amongst the volcano that sat quiet for many centuries. They had battled viciously to claim the land from Aspekterne, and at first, they had succeeded. Forming large territories for themselves and creating the ideal home they always dreamed of. Their Queen, Aliere having been the one to slay Aspekterne's Queen in dismissal of their attack, to which created a strong hateship between the two Krus. As centuries passed (now into present RP time), Trinity Queen of Aspekterne led a war party to completely destroy Mørk Kru. Killing every living soul, including children, as her final revenge on behalf of her ancestors. Now adays, Mørk Kru is now referred to as Ash Kru, and is lead by Trinity's daughter Lumina 'Ash Falls at Dawn'. A large portion of Aspekterne was sent over to reform the land and create a 'new Aspekterne' that would forever remain loyal to their original homelands. Lastly,and the newest of the new Krus is Snowquille, which exists underneath the Kru's territories in large ant-like structures under the earth. Like ants their home is large tunnels that open to areas and unlike the other krus, who are good with technology, they are far behind. They do not have access to power or gas and live strictly in their tunnels during the day, only leaving at night with fashioned weapons to hunt prey. Their current Queen is Marquise, who was not born there but was found half dead in the snow and taken into their homes for safety. She now works as one of the strongest Queens often giving Aspekterne a run for their money at times. ~x~ ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ |
